The review meeting of "2023 Registered Surveyor Continuing Education professional courseware Construction Scheme" was successfully held

From August 23 to 24, 2023, the Maritime Safety Administration of the Ministry of Transport organized a review meeting of the "2023 Annual Registered Surveyor Continuing Education professional courseware Construction Scheme" (hereinafter referred to as the "Construction Scheme") in the China Maritime Service Center. The meeting invited Li Qingping, former inspector of the Maritime Bureau of the Ministry of Transport, The expert group composed of representatives from Guangdong Maritime Safety Administration, China Classification Society, Yangtze River Maritime Safety Administration, Anhui Port and Shipping Management Service Center, Zhejiang Ship Inspection Center, Ningbo Port and Shipping Administration, Yichang Maritime Safety Administration, Zhoushan Ship Inspection Center, Taizhou Port and Shipping Development Center, Anhui Huaihe Ship Inspection Bureau, Jiangsu University of Science and Technology participated in the evaluation of the "Construction Plan".

At the meeting, China Maritime Service Center, the project undertaking unit, reported the research and preparation of the "construction plan", and representatives of the Yangtze River Maritime Safety Administration, Zhejiang Port and shipping Management Center, Anhui local maritime (port and shipping) management and service center and Jiangsu University of Science and Technology reported the sub-programs respectively. The expert group unanimously agreed that the "construction plan" passed the evaluation.

Continuing education is an important part of the registration system of registered surveyors. On the basis of summarizing and evaluating the results of the previous group, the "Construction Plan" formed at this meeting can promote registered surveyors to timely grasp new knowledge and skills and legal norms, so as to adapt to the new situation and new requirements of the shipping inspection industry, and achieve unified management of registered surveyors. It is of great significance to promote the high quality development of ship inspection industry.
