The "National Seafarers' Public Legal Consultation Hotline" was released to help protect the rights of seafarers

On July 10, the national Seafarers' public welfare Legal Consultation Hotline was released at the 10th China International Seafarers Forum. The Center participated with representatives from Dalian Maritime University Law School, Shandong Wenkang Law Firm, Beijing Jincheng Tongda (Dalian) Law Firm, Jiangsu Taiyou Law Firm, Liaoning Haida Law Firm, Wuhan Shipping Exchange and other six units. The participating units jointly indicated that they will continue to play a greater role in the future and provide more extensive legal support for the majority of seafarers.

The national crew public welfare legal Advisory hotline is 400-670-8858, which is composed of a consulting team composed of 28 professional lawyers. Through the efforts of the past year, it has helped the crew solve a large number of practical problems, and has become an important public service platform in the industry, and has been fully trusted by the majority of the crew. In 2022, the hotline was included in the "Guidelines for Seafarers' Employment and Rights Protection" by the Maritime Administration of the Ministry of Transport, and was awarded the "Top Ten Cases of seafarers served by the National water transport System".
